Wanda L Street

Wanda L. (Caudell) Street, 96, peacefully passed from this earthly life on Wednesday 5:05AM December 30, 2015 after 17 days in St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital combating pneumonia. She had resided at Countryside Manor Health and Rehabilitation since 2005. Wanda is preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Street in 1974, Troy Alan Baysinger, infant grandson in 1969 and son, Robert M. Street in 2013 and all of her 8 siblings and parents. Wanda worked briefly at Guide Lamp and many years at Meadowbrook A & M. She was a devoted servant of God belonging to East Lynn Christian Church for 80 years. She loved the Lord and faithfully served in many leadership roles; President of Women's CWF, board member, Deaconess, adult Sunday School teacher, food pantry, vacation Bible school volunteer and anything else asked of her. Wanda was a strong-willed and courageous woman. Widowed at 54, she conducted her life in an honorable way and a sense of pride to her children. She voiced her opinions with authority, never leaving any doubt what she thought or wanted. She also was funny and loved by all her caregivers. The family is forever thankful to all the hard workers from kitchen staff, housekeeping, nursing, activity department and her friends, Alan and Mark in maintenance department. Also to the loving staff on 6 South at St. Vincent Anderson, especially Dr. Robert Anderson, who lovingly and with much dedication offered his all to our elderly but valued Mom. Wanda is survived by her son, David (Louanna) Street of Selma, daughter, Carolyn (Steve) Bledsoe of Anderson, grandchildren, Steven Street, Autumn CdeBaca, Wendi Rummel, Darren Street, John Baysinger, and Donavan Baysinger, 15 great-grandchildren adding another in February and one great-great-grandson. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 4, 2016 from 11am-1pm at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson, IN. Services will held at 1:00pm on Monday, January 4, 2016 at the funeral home with Pastor Julie Mullins officiating. Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park.
