Marjorie Ann Cummins

Chesterfield - Marjorie Ann Emehiser Cummins, 78, Chesterfield, passed away at her home surrounded by her loved ones following an extended illness on October 30, 2011. She was born February 14, 1933 to Leroy and Dorothy Bilby Emehiser in Tipton, IN. She graduated from Lima Central High in Lima, Ohio. Marjorie married Olan Maurice Cummins "Mike" in 1951 and moved to Tipton. They started their family with four children and moved to Chesterfield in 1959. Marjorie worked at Delco Remy for 40 years, retiring in 1993. She was a U.A.W. Local #662 member and a member of Chesterfield Christian Church. She was a very loving Mom and Grandma, who loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her three children, daughter, Linda Diane McAtee of Anderson; sons, Rodney Maurice Cummins of Ottoville, OH, and Randall Dean Cummins Rita of Daleville; grandchildren, Jennifer Coonce James Wilhoite of Daleville, Monte Coonce Andi & family of Chesterfield, Angie Cummins Joseph Chad of Ft. Jennings, OH, Jenae Cummins Altman Chauncey of Mobile, AL, Maurissa Cummins, of Ottoville, OH, Kristin Cummins of Ft. Wayne, IN, Chris Hammonds Dusty & family, Shannon Seffernick & family of Delphos, OH, James Cooley Stacy & family of Middlepoint, OH, Shawn Cummings Angie & family of Pendleton, Jeremy Cummings Shannon & family of Lawrenceburg, IN, Chad Cummings of Muncie, Chris McAtee Jennifer & family and Jeremiah McAtee & family of Anderson; seven great grandchildren, Haleigh Walker Fiancee, Josh Krider of Anderson, Zoe Leigh Coonce of Daleville, Linleigh Wilhoite of Daleville, Evan and Aubrey Joseph of Ft. Jennings, OH and Jaylin & Ricky Olan Altman of Mobile, AL; two sisters, Judy Riemesch Bill of Elida, OH and Connie Fitzgerald John of Lima, OH; nieces and nephews, Terry Givens, Dan Riemesch Chris & family, Nancy O'Keefe Dave, Tim Fitzgerald Cindy & family, Melissa Burden Dan & family, and Kelly Jarrell Matt & family, all of Ohio; sister-in-law, Marilyn Fernung Dick of Tipton, IN; and many friends that became family including her next door neighbors, Jackie and Pam Taylor and their children, whom she loved; also special neighnbors, Debbie Huffman & family and Don & Pauline Beatty. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Cummins; son, Ronald Olan Cummins; sister, Lois Givens; parents, Leroy & Dorothy Emehiser; and her son-in-law, Kenny McAtee. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM on Friday, November 4, 2011 at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson, IN. Services will be 2:30 Pm Sat., November 5, 2011 at the funeral home with Ned Clark officiating. Burial will be in Bronnenberg Cemetery., Chesterfield, IN.
