Cherish Hope Bilbrey

Cherish Hope Bilbrey, age 25, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at her home in Anderson Indiana. She was born January 25, 1999, in Anderson Indiana to Anthony “Tony” Bilbrey and Amy “Davis” Bilbrey. Cherish was a 2018 Graduate of Beavercreek High School in Dayton Ohio. She was a kind person that loved on purpose. She was a beautiful young woman with a powerful intellect. She was Peaceful of nature. If you saw her, you might think her a shy quiet introvert, but She loved deep conversation, she was just not one to start an argument. She loved to read, and in her lifetime, could speak with a voice that seemed beyond its years on many subjects. A lover of art, movies, and music. She loved watching obscure artsy movies with her dad early on Saturday mornings before the rest of the family had woken up. Or stealing the family car with her sister to go joyriding, a story that has only recently come to light. Cherish was a true music buff, able to recite the history and beginnings of many musical artists before they were ever known. She loved to champion the little guy. Cherish spent hours listening to obscure unknown musicians and would always have a song recommendation. Soft at heart Cherish showed love to all living beings, animals included. Fashion, Cherish had a knack for fashion, she could make the absolute most of a thrift store run putting together outfits that always looked high fashion when she wore them. Cherish was also an outspoken supporter of people that don’t identify with societal norms and live alternative lifestyles. She supported being non-judgmental and always loving all people. Except racists, she couldn’t stand racists. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that in the last months of her life, she was glowing with love for a certain young man and was planning her future with a new light in her eyes and a smile on her face when she spoke. She passed unexpectedly with plans for tomorrow on her schedule. Those that knew Cherish will be forever saddened by her passing. She is survived by her father, Anthony Bilbrey, her mother, Amy Bilbrey, her brother, Devin Sky Bilbrey, her brother, Landon Patrick Bilbrey, her sister, Sierra Danielle Bilbrey, her sister-in-law, Rachel Bilbrey, her nephews, Otis Bilbrey and Bennett Bilbrey, her niece, Nova Love Williams, her grandmother, Judy Myers, her grandmother Sue Bertram, her uncle Josh Myers, and niece Bayley Myers, her aunt, Tammy Terry, and uncle, Jay Terry. Other special people in her life were her future step-mom, Shonna Wright Cline, sister-in- law, Autumn Manning, special friend, Steven Robinson, lifelong friend, Andrew Rainer, Pastor and lifelong friend, Gary and Pam McCaslin. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 6:00 pm with visitation two hours prior at Loose Funeral Homes and Crematory, 200 West 53rd Street, Anderson, IN 46013.
