Anderson - Sgt. Robert E. Colvill Jr., 31, Anderson, died July 8, 2004 in Iraq while serving his country. He was born November 13, 1972 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Anderson, Indiana most of his life. He was a Staff Sgt. In the US Army for two years. He had been a Sgt. in the US Marine Corps for 8 years prior to that. He was a 1991 Madison Heights High School graduate. He was serving his country in the US Army in Iraq. He is survived by his wife, Christine Colvill; his children, Savanna 6, Travis 5, and Zachary 2; his mother, Anita L. Beeman Walker; stepfather, Daniel E. Walker; his father, Robert E. Colvill Sr. & fiancee, Pamela McCord; wife's parents, Mr. And Mrs. Eugene Kathy Boss; his two sisters, Melanie L. Watkins Smith & husband GySgt. Barton R. Smith and Angel L. Colvill Seward & companion Steven J. Maddox; brother-in-law, Eric Boss; maternal grandmother, Marilynn Reasoner Donovan; maternal grandfather, M. Dean Beeman; paternal grandfather, Jack Colvill & special friend Ruth Buckley; maternal great grandmother, Berdella Reasoner; nieces, Ashley and Emily Smith and Meghan Seward; Aunt Debbie Beeman Huffman, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Deanna Bassett, Mr. And Mrs. Ted Beth Hiatt, Karen Beeman Thompson, Mr. And Mrs. Tracy Donna Price Uncle Facey, MstSgt. Moses G. Beeman, Mr. And Mrs. Andre Tammy Wright, Mr. & Mrs. Gary Joyce Hancock, Aunt Anna Claborn, Uncle Rick Colvill, Uncle John Walker and several cousins. He was preceded by his maternal grandmother, Beverly Heavilin; paternal great grandparents, Omar and Letty Colvill; three uncles, Dennis Thompson, Larry Huffman and Billy Heavilin; cousin, Keaton Micheal Carmack. Services will be Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at 10:00 AM, at North Anderson Church of God; 2604 N. Scatterfield Road; Anderson, with Rev. Joe Huff and Pastor John Davis officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8:00 PM on Monday, July 19, 2004 at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel; 200 W. 53rd Street; Anderson. Procession will leave funeral home at 12:30 PM, Wednesday, July 21, 2004 for burial of ashes at Memorial Park Cemetery at 1:00 PM.
