Robert L. Reveal

Robert L Reveal, 85, of Anderson, passed away on January 11, 2021, at his residence. He was born on March 20, 1935, in Hamilton County, the son of George Elmer and Fairy Marie (Lugenbeal) Reveal. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was married and spent 59 years with his loving wife, Lucille Reveal. He lived in Anderson most of his life and had many friends and family members in the area. He enjoyed working outdoors in his garden, attending his children’s activities, attending local sporting events, visiting with neighbors and friends and especially gatherings, reunions, and holidays with the Reveal and Kimm families. He loved to laugh and was recognized as the storyteller and historian for the Reveal family. He retired from the Delco-Remy Division of General Motors in 1997, after 33 1/2 years of service, having worked as a machine repairman. Bob is survived by his children, Robert "Bobby" (Zanobia Zubair) Reveal of Dallas, TX, and Brenda (Jen Tribbett) Reveal of Austin, TX; siblings, Loretta (Dick) Ginder of Anderson and Larry (Connie) Reveal of VA; grandchildren, Cole (Zoey) Reveal, and Zachary Reveal; great-granddaughter, Luna Reveal; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lucille Reveal; and sisters, Caroline Moore, and Dorothy Robertson. The family would like to extend thanks and appreciation to his special neighbors Duane, Stacy and Madalynn Harmon who have been such a big part of his life over the past 20 years. He will be dearly missed by many. The family encourages you to remember him with laughter and acts of kindness as that is how he lived his life and would be his wish. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and the Governor's Mandate, all visitation and services will be private.
