Rebekah Elizabeth Eubanks

On Friday, February 15, 2013, the portals of heaven opened and received a very special Angel. Rebekah Elizabeth Gilliam Eubanks fell asleep in the arms of the Lord, and passed from this life to the next life, and is resting where there is no more sorrow, no more sickness, and no more pain. She is happy and free from the 5 year battle she has waged against cancer. She fought a fight that was beyond what most could have endured, and never lost the happiness and joy that she had, that was so infectious to everyone that she knew. She has a special gift of pulling people together, making the bad situations always seem better, and bringing happiness and joy to all who knew her. She loved life, and was blessed with a special love and gift to help people, and to minister to those in need. She was the heart and soul mate of her loving and caring husband Justin Eubanks. The love they shared was and is far reaching beyond the boundaries of earth and time. She was the loving and caring step mother to Austin and Lilly Eubanks, a precious baby girl to her father and mother, Ron and Krista Gilliam, and much more than a beloved sister to Rachel, Kimberly, and Joshua Gilliam and her sisters by marriage, Kim, Jami, and Christie. Becky shared a love and relationship with her dad that was an eternal bond that can never be broken. Although she was chosen by the Lord to go home first, that bond is stronger now than it has ever been and she is everlastingly burned into his heart. Becky and her mom were not only mother and daughter, but were best friends. They were bonded in love, and had promised to always take care of each other. That love and pact is still in place, Becky is looking over the banisters of heaven and loving her mom. Also surviving are the parents of Justin Eubanks, Mike and Janet Eubanks. Becky loved them profoundly. Special aunt, Denise Priest, and several other aunts and uncles also survive her along with numerous cousins whom she loved without any limits and boundaries. Special cousins Jeremiah Priest, Jason Priest, an Jennifer Hatmacher were and are knit together in her heart, and she loved them deeply. Her "Granny", Madge Gilliam, whom she loved deeply, preceded her in death. Her family, friends, and coworkers have been, and will forever be better people from knowing Becky, and there hearts have forever been changed by her loving, caring, and selfless nature. She freely gave of herself, and of her love to anyone who would accept it. She will be greatly missed, but her love and gift will continue on through those of us that are left behind. We will continue her work until we can join her one-day, and have the reunion we all are longing for. A special thank you to all who supported Becky and her family in this trial. There are too many to name, but your outpouring of love and care was beyond love boundries. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 19, 2013 10:30 am - 2:30 pm at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson, Indiana. Services will be at 2:30 pm, Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at the funeral home with Pastor Ronnie Kolb officiating.
