Atlanta - Phyllis ''Ruthanne'' Ehle Dodd, Atlanta, 77, went home to her Lord, November 26, 2003 at her daughter Cheryl and husband Matt's home in Atlanta, Indiana . She was born May 2, 1926 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Atlanta, Indiana. She lived in this area all of her life. Ruthanne worked for Anderson City Utilities before transferring to the Pendleton License Branch retiring in 1989. She graduated from Anderson High School in 1944. She was a member of Bethany Christian Church. She was a member of Ivy Rebecca Lodge where she attained the title of Noble Grand in 1968 and was a member of Columbia Rebecca Lodge for over 45 years. She was a loving mother and cherished family gatherings. She left behind a legacy of love and compassion by sharing herself with family and friends. Ruthanne will be deeply missed and will remain in our hearts forever! However, we know she is at peace now at her Master's side. She is survived by her Husband of 57 years of marital bliss: Robert F. Dodd Jr. Children: Marsha Commodore Dodd-Widow of son, David Bruce Dodd. Terry Kent & wife Deborah Dodd. Glenn William & wife Robin Dodd. Robin Alan & wife Mary Dodd. Cheryl & husband Matthew Nightenhelser. Ten Grandchildren: Jason Craib, Shane Dodd, Jama Craib, Megan Nightenhelser, Mandi Nightenhelser, Melissa Dodd, Laura Dodd, Jessica Dodd, Andrew Dodd and Corey Dodd. Six Great Grandchildren: Auston Craib, Audree Rigdon, Abragail Rigdon, Jonas Craib, Karah Nickerson and Joy Craib. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and wonderful loving friends. Her dear pet Quaker parrot, Willie Bird, also survives her. She was preceded by her her sons: Stephen Craig Dodd and David Bruce Dodd. Parents: Uranus & Ruth Mullen Ehle. Brothers: Glen Ehle and Charles Ehle. Niece: Marsha Ehle Abshire. Nephew: Glen Edward ''Iggy'' Ehle. Services will be Monday, December 1, 2003 at 10:00 AM, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel. 200 W. 53rd Street; Anderson, with Kent Stookey and Bob Bell of Bethany Christian Church. officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson . Visitation will be from 4-8:00 PM on Sunday, November 30, 2003 at funeral home, south chapel and 1/2 hour before the service on Monday.
