Nora Elyzabeth Ramey

It is with the heaviest of broken hearts that we announce the passing of our dearest daughter "Queen" Nora Elyzabeth Ramey. Nora passed September 28th, 2023 held tight in her mother's loving arms and surrounded by her closest family and loved ones. After a long and arduous battle against pneumonia and Rhino-entero virus, her little body became tired and was unable to fight anymore. This loss has left our family shattered and gasping for breath from such an unexpected and devastating blow. Nora was without a doubt the most joyful little ray of sunshine this world has ever seen. Her little smile lit up not only her entire face, but whole rooms, and hearts from all around the world. In her short time here on this earth, Nora became a beacon of love, hope, and strength to thousands who watched her journey with RCDP, the rare terminal genetic disorder that she was born with. Strangers from all walks of life were brought together, through the use of social media, by this amazing little Warrior whom they all came to love so much. So many have stood with us as we cheered on each of her victories, and rejoiced in each laugh and smile she gave. She brought people together everywhere her light touched. She was the embodiment of true radiance, a love so bright and pure it could only have been fashioned by divinity. She loved music most of all, and she definitely had a vibe. She would kick and "dance" to bright and happy songs. Somewhere over the Rainbow was her favorite. She would full belly laugh at Mama or Daddy playing with her and her Dumbo stuffy, or giggle when you got her little toes. She loved her big sisters trying to help her say Mama and thought it was just the funniest thing in the whole world. She loved to just sit in her rocking chair and snuggle while we rocked. Though nothing could beat napping in moms arms while we sat in the ocean, rocked by the waves. I wish we could have done that more. From her very first day, Nora faced struggles bigger than any human should ever have to face. She was not given an easy body to live in nor the "perfect" health that every mother and father wishes for their baby to have, yet she tore down mountains with such vigor and grace. She beat the odds over and over again so many times and for so long I think even We began to believe that she would be invincible and never did we imagine we'd suddenly be out of time. Nora, we had no way of knowing how long or short your journey would be, only that we were the absolute luckiest parents in the whole world for having been the ones chosen to take that journey with you. Our hearts were never going to be ready to lose you, but I wouldn't take back or regret one single second of the time we got to be with you in this life basking in your radiant Love. We know that you are free now, able to run and jump, dance and twirl like you never could here on this Earth. We know you are not in pain and we know that you will always be with us. We love you, today, tomorrow and always Sweet Queen. We will see you when we get there. Love, Mama, Daddy and your sisters. Final Celebration of Life services will be held October 28th 2023, at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W 53rd St, Anderson, IN 46013, between the hours of 1pm-3pm. We would like to invite all who have loved her to please join us in celebrating Nora and all of the light she brought into this world with her.
