Linda Faye Reynolds

Anderson - Linda Faye Reynolds passed away on May 17, 2013, "God saw her getting tired and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around her, and he whispered, "Come with me." She was born on June 23, 1944 in Livingston, Tennessee and resided in Anderson since 1963. Linda was a beautiful, caring, loving, warm-hearted, mother to all. Her smile was contagious, her laughter could echo for miles, and her heart was full to the brim with love. She was as passionate as she was courageous. Her strength was irrefutable. She had the fight of a lion, inside the body of a lamb. Precious and dear to our hearts, she will remain, always; never leaving our sides in times of grief, trouble, heartache, and when we needed guidance. Linda was a beautiful soul, she was the rock that we broke ourselves against in times of great need. She stood strong for her family and her friends. Now, her fight is over, and she has won. Now, we will stand strong for her. Linda is survived by her loving husband, whom she married June 8, 1963, Victor Reynolds;sister, Patricia "Susie" Gibson; daughter, Lisa Larry Reynolds-Brown of Anderson; son, Steve Debbie Reynolds of Anderson; four grandchildren, Breeanne Widener, Shianne Brown, Sierra Brown, and Logan Reynolds, all of Anderson; several nieces and nephews and countless family friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Carr, her three precious babies; Vickie Lynn, Charles Edward, & Michael David and eleven siblings; Jess carr, Lela Carr Ogletree, Emma Carr Cornelius, Shirlie Carr, Ann Carr Malone, Essie Jean Bud Barkdull, Carl Carr, Clyde Carr, Jack Carr, and Bubby Carr. "Each times we see your picture, you seem to smile and say, "Don't cry, I'm in God's keeping. We'll meet again someday." Visitation will be held Monday, May 20, 2013 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson. Services will be Monday, May 20, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Brown officiating. Entombment will take place in East Maplewood Cemetery.
