Chesterfield Township, Michigan - James A. Davis, 57, Chesterfield Township, died December 2, 2004 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital-Clinton City, Michigan after a brief illness. He was born February 27, 1947 in Indianapolis, Indiana, and resided in Chesterfield Township, Michigan. He lived in Pendleton for 33 years. He has lived in Michigan for the last 4 years. He formerly worked for Indiana State Police and Delco Remy. He currently worked for Securitas Security, formerly Pinkerton Security as the Director of US operations and was over security for all the Delphi factories in the US. He attended Fall Creek Christian Church. He was a member of Madison Masonic Lodge #44 F. & A.M. and Order of Eastern Star #138. He served on the Pendleton Fire Department for 17 years, Pendleton Police Department for 20 years as a deputy, served on Pendleton Ambulance Board of Directors and the Pendleton Town Board for 3 years. He was the Assistant Chief for the Pendleton Fire Department and the Chief of the Pendleton Ambulance. He is survived by his Wife whom he married August 4, 1967: Linda S. Baker Davis. Two Daughters: Kimberly & husband Scott Robinette of Frankton. Stacey & husband Brady Baker of Pendleton. Parents: Raymond & Peggy Craig Davis of Greenfield. Two Brothers: Leo & wife Karen Davis of Greenfield. Ken & wife Gladys Davis of Indianapolis. Two Grandchildren: Christopher Todd and Matthew Robinette. Nine Nieces, Eight Nephews, Twelve Great Nieces, Nine Great Nephews and very special friends: John & Cathie Stewart, Sue Quinlan, Maurice & Susan Cooper and Derrek & Bobbi Hosier. Services will be Monday, December 6, 2004 at 10:00 AM, at Greenfield Christian Church, with Rev. Roy Norville officiating. Burial will be in Park Cemetery-Greenfield, Indiana. Visitation will be from 1-6:00 PM on Sunday, December 5, 2004 at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel; 200 W. 53rd Street; Anderson. A Madison Masonic Lodge Service will be Sunday, December 5, 2004 at 5:00 PM.
