Bill Roesch

Bill Roesch, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 27, 2024. In his 88 years, he was an executive at General Motors, a world traveler, and a founder of a community dinner charity in Anderson. He was a kind soul that always sought out ways to help out charities. He was an Eagle Scout who continued to help them for the rest of his life by serving in multiple support roles. He was active in First United Methodist Church in Anderson and donated his time as a CPA and served on multiple committees to help them. The Community Cafe dinner there was founded with his vision. It continues to feed people to this day. He was also a member of the Sertoma Club and the Optimist Club. Bill loved to travel and traveled with his wife throughout the world. Between the two of them, they have been on every continent. Together they decided to take every grandchild to any destination in the world during the summer of their 12th year. This was a special time where the grandchild could bond with them. They loved it. When they returned home Bill would create an album of the trip to share with family and friends. Bill was also passionate about making custom greeting cards for friends and family on his computer. These cards were really appreciated. While the family is, of course sad, we are focused on a life well lived and thankful for his time on earth and our time with him. Bill is well-loved. Bill graduated from Ball State University with a Master's in Business. William is survived by his loving spouse of 67 years, Deardra (Beresford) Roesch, children, Pam (Roger) Martin, David Roesch, and Jill Docskalik; grandchildren, Wesley, Eric, Aaron, Katie, Adrene, Trevor; great-grandchildren, Alice, Jaina, and Amelia. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and June Roesch. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2024, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church, 1215 Jackson Street, Anderson, IN 46016. Services will be on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 6:00 pm at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Anderson. www.loosecares.com.
