Berry W. Warrum

Anderson - Berry W. Warrum, 85, Anderson, died September 13, 2008 at Ball Memorial Hospital-Muncie after an extended illness. He was born April 28, 1923 in Greenfield, and lived most of his life in this area. He served with the U.S. Army 44th Infantry during World War II. Berry was employed as a skilled trade pipefitter with Guide Dvision of General Motors, retiring in 1980 after 37 years of service. He was a member of Main Street Church of God, U.A.W. Local #663, Anderson Auxillary Police and the Disabled Amerian Veterans. Survivors include his children, Janet Leroy Bennett of Lenoir City, TN, Berry Bonnie Warrum of Corinth, TX, Tim Angie Warrum of Pendleton, Becky Warrum and Terry Leonard of Anderson and James Toni Warrum of Anderson; brothers and sisters, Doris Holding, Helen Milliner and David Carroll Margie Warrum; sisters-in-law, Della Wilson and Jeanette Warrum; brother-in-law, Leo Jackey; fourteen grandchildren, Danny & Tony Bennett, Tina Thomas, Michael & Ryan Warrum, Renee Gateley, Nicole Kennedy, Tracey Petty, Tim Warrum Jr., Amber Lane, Melissa Leonard, Laci & Lance Gary and Hali Warrum; seventeen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, including special niece and nephew, Danny Warrum and Sharon Joslin, his twin brother's children. The family gives special thanks to Dr's Stinson, Patel and Morrical, the Doctors and staff at Ball Memorial ICU and Oncology Hospice Units. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise M. Jackey Warrum; son, Jerry; parents, Perry J. & Martha I. Bronnenberg Warrum; brothers, Virgil, Leo, Charles, twin brother, Perry, who died in the line of duty in Berry's arms, Max; and sisters, Maxine and Mildred Warrum and Lucille Bruce. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM on Monday, September 15, 2008 at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home's south chapel. Services will be Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at 12:00 PM, at Main Street Church of God, Anderson, Indiana with visitation 1 hr. prior to service. Pastor Don Billey and Pastor Tim Warrum officiating.
